為啟發學生的科學潛能並拓寬學術視野，本校小四至小六學生代表於2026年1月23日前往香港科技大學，參與了精彩紛呈的「STEAM Day@HKUST」。這次校外參觀讓學生走出教室，親身感受到大學校園濃厚的科研氛圍，並在充滿活力的環境中探索科技的奧秘。
活動內容豐富且具啟發性，學生們首先參加了「紙飛機工作坊」，透過動手製作與改良，學習空氣動力學的基礎原理。隨後，同學們穿梭於校園內的互動STEAM遊戲攤位及DIY手作區，在輕鬆愉快的氣氛中挑戰各項科學任務。最令學生難忘的莫過於參觀由科大學生團隊準備的機器人演示與展覽，精準的機械運作與創新設計讓大家驚嘆連連，更激發了他們對機械工程與人工智能的濃厚興趣。
活動期間，樂天學生展現了積極的探究精神，與大學生們互動頻繁，現場氣氛熱烈。這次科大之行不僅豐富了學生的科學知識，更在他們心中種下了追求卓越科學夢想的種子。感謝香港科技大學提供是次寶貴的學習機會，讓學生度過了一個既充實又充滿驚喜的學習日。
To ignite students' passion for science and expand their academic horizons, our P4 to P6 students visited the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) on January 23, 2026, for the exciting "STEAM Day@HKUST." This field trip allowed students to step outside the classroom and experience the vibrant research atmosphere of a university campus while exploring the wonders of technology.
The event featured a variety of inspiring activities. Students first participated in a Paper Plane Workshop, where they learned the basic principles of aerodynamics through hands-on creation and experimentation. They also enjoyed various interactive STEAM game booths and DIY corners, completing scientific challenges in a fun and engaging environment. A major highlight was the robot demonstration and exhibition presented by HKUST student teams. The precision and innovative designs of the robots fascinated our students, sparking a deep interest in mechanical engineering and artificial intelligence.
Throughout the day, our students displayed a strong spirit of inquiry and interacted enthusiastically with the university students. This visit not only enriched their scientific knowledge but also planted the seeds of scientific ambition in their hearts. We would like to express our gratitude to HKUST for providing such a valuable and inspiring learning experience for our students.
