On 30 October 2025, our students participated in the 'Jockey Club Hong Kong Tennis Open Community Programme' at the Victoria Park Tennis Court, enjoying a rich and engaging experience that combined sports, learning, and live match viewing.
Organized by the Hong Kong Tennis Association in conjunction with the 'Hong Kong Tennis Open 2025,' the programme aimed to promote tennis and allow students to witness the excitement of a world-class sporting event firsthand. The activities included:
- Guided Tour of the Tournament: Led by professional docents, students learned about the history of the tournament, venue facilities, and match rules, deepening their understanding of the sport.
- Tennis Experience Session: Under the guidance of professional tennis players, students tried out basic tennis techniques, sparking their interest and enhancing their sense of participation.
- Live Viewing of Women’s Singles Match: Students watched a world-class women’s singles match live, gaining insight into the athletes’ professionalism and determination.
Through this programme, students not only broadened their horizons in sports but also learned to appreciate the perseverance and focus of professional athletes, gaining a deeper understanding of the true spirit of sportsmanship.
